How We Research

Sources, product identity and uncertainty come first.

Identify the exact product

We record brand, model and variant before comparing specifications or offers. A similar listing is not evidence for a different product.

Keep facts attributable

Our research workflow records the source and verification date for factual fields. Manufacturer-provided documentation, retailer-provided descriptions, owner-reported experience and physically tested findings are labeled separately. A retailer claim is not a test result.

Separate products and offers

A product’s dimensions or materials belong to its canonical record. Price, availability, shipping and seller terms belong to a dated merchant offer. Unknown facts stay unknown; stale observations are not presented as current.

Publish when the evidence is useful

Private research can contain unresolved questions. We keep incomplete records private instead of publishing placeholders as recommendations. Approved product imagery and documented asset permissions are required before product imagery is used.

Testing and illustrations

We do not say “we tested” unless we physically tested the exact product. This release has no hands-on product reviews. Generated editorial illustrations show possible spaces, not verified products or test sites.
